Our Catering Manager and staff are at your service to help with knowledge and suggestions to make your function run as smoothly as possible, from supplying fresh flowers to developing customized floor plans. We look forward to making your function a success.
Menu Selection
The enclosed menus feature our most popular items. These are suggestions only as we have the flexibility to design menus to suit your requirements. All prices quoted in the enclosed menus are current and although we endeavor to maintain consistency, they are subject to change within 60 days without notice. Please note that some items require up to two weeks notice to order and prepare, others may be dependent on the season (vegetables & fruit). If it is not on the list, we can certainly accommodate you, so be sure to ask. Thank you for your consideration and please be sure to book early to ensure that we can provide everything you require.

Dances/Music
A referral is available for DJ services. We are required to collect a copyright fee, depending on group size, plus tax, which is submitted to the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) as per Canadian copyright law.
Audio/Visual Equipment
Audio/visual equipment may be ordered through our Catering Department on a rental basis. Complimentary note pads, pens, flip charts (2) and markers, podium, and projection screen will be provided upon request.
Payment/Credit Policy
If you or your company does not already have an account with us, please be sure to establish one with our accounting department 30 days in advance of your function to facilitate the billing process. Our credit policy is full payment within 30 days of date of invoice. Social function payments are required prior to or on the day of the function.
Sales and Catering Policies
Guarantees
Guaranteed numbers are required a minimum of 72 hours (on weekends, 96 hours) prior to function. Guaranteed number or attendance, whichever is greater, will be charged.
Food
Due to Nova Scotia Provincial Health Regulations, all food served in our function rooms must be provided by the hotel. No outside food or beverage is permitted.
Beverages
In accordance with our license under the Nova Scotia Liquor Control Act, the hotel must provide all alcoholic beverages served in our function rooms. Alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the function room where they have been served, and may not be carried out of the room.
Meeting Room Cancellations
Unless otherwise arranged with our Catering Manager, the full room rental will be charged if cancellation is less than 96 hours prior to the function and the room cannot be resold.
Social Functions and Wedding Cancellations
A non-refundable $500.00Cdn deposit will be charged if the cancellation is received less than 90 days prior to the function and the room cannot be resold for an equivalent function.
Food and Beverage prices subject to 15% gratuity. All prices subject to H.S.T.
Total cost of all function charges, including catering will be charged if cancellation is less than 96 hours prior to function.
We reserve the right to change function rooms if necessary.
